Principal Superintendents of Convicts' Office, Sydney, March 24,1834.

The undermentioned prisoners having absconded from the individuals and employments set against their names respectively, and some of them being at large with stolen Certificates, and Tickets of Leave, all constables are hereby required and commanded to use their utmost exertion in apprehending and lodging them in safe custody.

Any person harbouring or employing any of the said absentees, will be prosecuted as the Law directs: ....

Trott John, Vittoria, 29-478, 28, Somerset, carpenter, 5 feet 2, ruddy freckled comp. dark brown hair, blue eyes, supposed to be at the district of Goulburn, charged with embezzlement, from William Hovell, Upper Minto.
