Death of Mr. N. Cochran

The death occurred at Tumut on February 2 of Mr. Neil Cochran, aged 88 years, a former resident of Adaminaby and Tumbarumba.

He was born in the Monaro area and after moving to Tumbarumba engaged in butchery and cattle dealing.

Later he was associated with a mining interest.

Two members of his family surviving are Mr. Val Cochran (Railway Department, Goulburn) and Ruby (Mrs. R. C.Masters, Tumut), two brothers and seven sisters predeceased him.
