The death occurred at the Tumut District
Hospital about 1 o'clock on Saturday morning of Mr. Richard Beck, a
resident of Capper-Street and a drover who was
widely known throughout the Monaro and Riverina, the cause of death
being heart failure. He leaves a widow and one daughter,
Ruby (Mrs. James Brennan, of Summer Hill). The funeral took place yesterday
afternoon, the cortege leaving from the Church of the Immaculate
Conception for the new cemetery at 3.30 o'clock. A full obituary will appear in
