Death of a Pioneer

Tumut, Monday.

Mr. James Kell, aged 69, who had been a resident of the district for 51 years, died on Saturday morning.

The funeral took place yesterday, and was a large one.

Deceased brought goods from Sydney to Tumut by team over 50 years ago.

He owned a large area of valuable land at Lacmalac.

All the property was freehold.
