Schoolgirl Drowned. Sydney, Thursday Night.

Nancy Treweeke (11), was drowned in the Tumut river, to-day. Shortly after a swimming lesson had been concluded the girl returned to the river to practise, and soon got out of her depth.

She pulled down two other girls who were endeavouring to save her, and slipped from their grasp.
