The Gundagai bridge works are advancing very slowly, the principal drawback to this is the want of cylinders which the contractors find a difficulty in procuring carriage for, and when the news that unfortunately befell two carriers with their unwieldy loads becomes circulated, I fear teamsters will not be tempted with any bribe to run a similar risk.
