Honoring an Explorer. Hume's Home to be Preserved. Sydney, June 15.

The State Government have decided to save for posterity the ruins of the home of Hamilton Hume, one of the greatest native-born explorers.

The site is near Appin from where Hume started in 1824 to find the Murrumbidgee.
