James Harris of Lacmalac Has Died

An old identity of Tumut, Mr. James Harris, of Lacmalac; aged 96, has died. 

Born at Sandy Creek, Argalong, he re-sided in the vicinity of that district all his life.

Since retirement he, resided with his daughter, Mrs. Wal Kell. 

He married Miss Mary Boyd, of Tumut, who predeceased him by six years.

Of the family of 10, Mervyn was killed in 1914-18 war., and Emma (Mrs. Morton, Yass). predeceased him.

Survivors are Charles (Jugiong), Ruby (Mrs. Hawker, Jugiong), James (Jugiong), Annie (Mrs. Bob Kell, Lacmalac), Thomas (Lacmalac), Ross (Bombowlee), Percy (Jugiong), George (Wagragobilly) and Mary (Mrs. Wal Kell, Lacmalac).
