Known Cattle Thieves at Large in The New Country

2 May 1836 The Sydney Herald

We have been requested to direct the attention of the Associations for the prevention of Cattle Stealing, to the fact of several noted cattle-stealers, whose names were called in question on the trial of William Warby, in the Supreme Court, and of whom the witnesses swore that they had stolen the cattle, for the receiving which Warby was convicted, being at large in the new country, apparently without any steps being taken, against them; one man is stated to be publicly at Molonglo, where he was seen by some persons travelling into the interior, about a fortnight back.
