Mr. Bennett returned from
the Yass, Murrumbidgee, and Tumat Countries The
Sydney Herald 17 January 1833 |
We have just heard that Mr. Bennett has returned
from a scientific journey into the Yass, Murrumbidgee,
and Tumat Countries. In addition to numerous specimens of comparative
anatomy, we understand he has succeeded in bringing with him
to Sydney two specimens (male and female) of the ornithorynchus paradoxus,
or water mole, in a living state. |
