Obituary - Mrs. H. Leck 2 May 1950 Daily Advertiser (Wagga Wagga)

The death occurred at a private hospital In Wagga on Sat- urday morning of Mrs. Minnie Leek, at the age of 72 years. Mrs. Leek, who was the wife of Mr.Harry Leek, of Morgan Street, Wagga, was born at Cape Hawk (N.S.W.) and married at Albury.

She was widely known in Wagga and district, where she had re- sided for many years, and was held In high esteem by many friends. Mrs. Leek Is survived by her husband; four sons, Messrs. John, Henry and Albert Leek, all of Wagga, and Frederick Leek, of Tumut; and three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Deacon, of Wagga, Mrs. Frank Delfrado, of Fairfield, and Mrs. Max Miller, of U.S.A. The funeral, which took place on Sunday morning, was largely attended by relativesand friends from Wagga, Tumut, Sydney and Junee. The cortege moved from St. Michael's Cath- edral after prayers had been read by the Rev. Father Duck, Adm. Interment took place in the Wagga Cemetery, where Father Duck again officiated. Many beautiful wreaths were received. The funeral arrangements were conducted by J. C. McDonald.
