Raining Hard in the Murrumbidgee

The Argus, Melbourne

2 May 1851

Good news from the Murrumbidgee. A person who arrived in town last night from the Murrumbidgee; informs us that it was raining hard when he left the lower part of the river below Gundagai, and from the appearance of the clouds he expected that Bland and the Lochlan were getting their share of the blessing. There was plenty of rain at Yass when he passed through.
