Replacement Gobarralong Bridge Open

Although no official opening: ceremony has taken place, the new Gobarralong bridge across the Murrumbidgee was thrown open for traffic last week.

The first to cross were the Misses B. L. and K. Carberry.

They were driven across by the contractor on Easter Monday.

Cr. Will Luff intends to organise some function.

In all probability the ceremony of cutting the ribbon will be early on May.
