Survey of Wild Cattle

On Tuesday the 21st ultimo His Excellency ordered a party of Men from Parramatta to survey the Wild Cattle at the Pastures, and to slaughter one of the cast-off Bulls: In pursuance of which a young Bull was killed on the Friday following, which was brought into Parramatta and Sydney, and proves of an excellent quality.

The Governor has since directed, that a Butcher with several assistants should be employed in killing and curing the single Bulls until further orders; for which purpose they were on Monday last furnished with proper implements and necessaries.
