The death of Mr. Michael Ryan

The death occurred at Tumut on Sunday of Mr. Michael Ryan. He was the father of ex-Pte. J. Ryan, V.C., three other sons' and a daughter. A widow also survives.

Deceased had been suffering from a malignant growth, which was incurable, and , in a way, his demise must be considered a happy release from his sufferings.

Mr. Ryan was one of Turnut's old-time teamsters., and it is only a short time since he relinquished this occupation.
