The bush fire at Bongarralong station, near Gundagai, has now been subdued. The damage is estimated at several thousands of pounds. About five miles of country was destroyed, besides crops and fencing.

A fire at Edward Malone's farm, Tumut Plains, on Thursday, destroyed the residence and its contents. The family left with only the clothes they wore. Malone's child, while watching the fire from the top of a fence, fell and broke an arm in two places.
