Vaccination

Goulburn Herald

29 July 1863

Goulburn - Dr. Waugh, the government vaccinator, will vaccinate every Monday until further notice. Children under ten years of age are treated gratuitously.

Important as vaccination always is, it must at the present time be regarded as doubly so, as not only is small-pox raging to a great extent in England, but it has also reached the neighboring colony of Victoria.

To neglect taking preventive measures will therefore be culpable in the extreme.
